WindEurope has published a call to action addressed to the German Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy, Peter Altmaier. In the letter, the wind industry association calls on the minister to implement a National Energy and Climate Plan for 2030 before the beginning of the German presidency of the European Council in July.

Energy company innogy SE paves the way for its third German offshore project Kaskasi: The company took the final investment decision (FID) for the construction of the 342 megawatt (MW) wind farm, which is located 35 kilometres north of the island of Heligoland.
